Advanced Materials Technologies (AMT) is a leading FAA Part 145 repair station specializing in APU hot section components. As a new manufacturing company, we support some of the largest companies in the world with advanced machining capabilities, including milling, lathes, EDMs, welding, and more.


Summary

We are seeking an Operator to join our dynamic team at Advanced Materials Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to produce high-quality aerospace components. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring our commitment to excellence and precision in manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

•
Set up and effectively operate your machine.
•
Must be capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously.
•
Ability to establish and maintain production standards.
•
Check and verify results of the machining operation, using the necessary measuring instruments. Communicate any problems or suggestions to your supervisor.
•
Work from MOTs, MIR, sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
•
Perform routine preventative maintenance on your machine.
•
Practice safe working habits and maintain a clean working environment.
•
Have working knowledge of how to make wear offsets within the control.


Requirements:

•
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
•
Ability to communicate with supervisors and other employees.
•
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and/or verbal instructions.
•
The ability to deal effectively with problems
•
The physical ability to stand, reach, lift (30 pounds maximum), and able to concentrate on the job at hand.
•
Adequate vision to see and check the work they are doing.
•
Any job or function within your ability requested to do by management.
•
To pursue additional training classes for specific needs.
