Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the Solar Installation electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

•

Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

•

Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts.

•

Work on both low voltage and high voltage systems under supervision.

•

Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

•

Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

•

Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

•

Prior experience or coursework related to electrical work is preferred but not required.

•

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site practices is advantageous.

•

Basic understanding of electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.

•

Ability to read schematics and blueprints is a plus.

•

Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction effectively.
