Electrical Engineer II/III - Solar and Energy Storage Power Conversion Systems

We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.

LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. This position is responsible for supporting solar and energy storage projects as the power conversion system (inverter) subject matter expert. The goal of this position is to ensure solar and energy storage projects in execution/construction and the development pipeline meet Leeward’s technical and business requirements while maintaining our long-term ownership focus.

As a member of the Subject Matter Expert engineering team, the successful candidate will provide technical advisory and other engineering support associated with inverters for solar and energy storage projects. The successful candidate should be familiar with the major suppliers of power conversion equipment in the solar and energy storage industry and have knowledge of the primary technical differences between products and market segments.
