GENERAL SUMMARY:

Electrical Roustabout II will support the electrical maintenance and installation needs of our operations. This role involves assisting licensed electricians with a variety of tasks including cable pulling, conduit installation, lighting, and basic troubleshooting of electrical equipment in industrial and oilfield environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

•

Lay out and install conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components under supervision.

•

Pull, terminate, and label cables in accordance with electrical codes and project specifications.

•

Perform basic troubleshooting on lighting and power systems.

•

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

•

Load, unload, and transport electrical materials and equipment on site.

•

Drive and operate company vehicles or equipment, as required.

•

Follow all company safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, and support general roustabout duties as needed.

•

Assist in rigup and rigdown procedures, involving electrical systems.

•

Perform inspections and report hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors.

•

Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

•

Skilled in metal, mechanics, or other labor crafts.

•

Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.

•

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

•

A commitment to be honest, safe, and produce quality work.

EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE:

•

One (1) verifiable year of electrical experience; industrial industry preferred.

•

Current and valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record

The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Visual acuity must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
