GENERAL SUMMARY:
Electrical Roustabout II will support the electrical maintenance and installation needs of our operations. This role involves assisting licensed electricians with a variety of tasks including cable pulling, conduit installation, lighting, and basic troubleshooting of electrical equipment in industrial and oilfield environments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
•Lay out and install conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components under supervision.
•Pull, terminate, and label cables in accordance with electrical codes and project specifications.
•Perform basic troubleshooting on lighting and power systems.
•Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
•Load, unload, and transport electrical materials and equipment on site.
•Drive and operate company vehicles or equipment, as required.
•Follow all company safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, and support general roustabout duties as needed.
•Assist in rigup and rigdown procedures, involving electrical systems.
•Perform inspections and report hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•Skilled in metal, mechanics, or other labor crafts.
•Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
•Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
•A commitment to be honest, safe, and produce quality work.
EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE:
•One (1) verifiable year of electrical experience; industrial industry preferred.
•Current and valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record
