The Water Resource Recovery Operations and Services department is seeking an Electrician 2. This position installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains electrical and electronic systems and equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required KSAs would be:
2+ years of experience in installing, modifying, repairing, and servicing industrial electrical and electronic systems including repairing, testing, and troubleshooting energized and de-energized electrical components.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
Upon selection, candidate must possess and maintain a valid State issued driver's license.
Must possess a State of Oregon Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician License or higher.

Depending on hours worked and duration of the position, temporary employees may qualify for an offer of medical benefits, deferred compensation, and employee discounts. Temporary employees are eligible for sick leave at the rate of .0334 per hour worked upon beginning employment and may carry over up to 40 hours into the next calendar year.
