Emergency Department Cleaning

Job description

Looking for a part time opportunity for only a couple days a week, ProClean, Inc. is looking to hire an Environmental Service position on Saturdays (8am-4pm) and Mondays (4pm-12am) at the new Emergency Room located in east Valparaiso. Additional hours can be made available after the initial position has been filled and once other shifts open up.

Schedule:

Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Mondays, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Responsibilities:

· Prioritizing positive patient experiences using AIDET

· Maintain Emergency Room and hospital common areas for cleanliness and sanitation

· Clean and turnover patient rooms after discharge

· Clean, disinfect & restock medical areas & restrooms

· Sweeping/mopping

· Operate machine scrubber and burnisher

· Window washing

· Task work during downtime

· Must speak the English language fluently

Requirements:

· Submit to background screening

· Eye for detail

· Well-kept appearance and demeanor

· Medical attire (navy blue scrubs)

· Customer Service Skills

· Holidays mandatory on your scheduled workdays
