Engineering Technologist

We are currently looking for an Engineering Technologist to join our team at our Paradise, NL office.

As an Engineering Technologist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Drafting with AutoCAD & CADWorx

- Project Cost Estimates

- Project Scheduling

- Facility/Process Design

- Regulatory Approvals

- Engineering Design Packages

- Equipment Procurement

- A strong commitment to working safely and protecting the safety of others

Education, Skills, and Qualifications

All experience levels welcome. Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· 2 years of engineering design and operational support.

· Mechanical engineering field experience

· 2 years of experience in the upstream or midstream oil and gas industry

· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology

· Registered as a T.T. or C.E.T. with ASET

· Familiarity with CSA Z662 and ASME B31.3 Code

· Experience leading client meetings

Due to the critical nature of our work, integrity is key. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, be safety minded, possess excellent communications skills, a strong work ethic and enjoy working as a team.

Accredited post-secondary education and 2-4 years experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is a requirement. Knowledge of process piping design and instrumentation and experience with CADWorx would be an asset.
