Engraving Machine Operator

This position is primarily responsible for marking production material (various metals) and assisting with other material handling and packaging functions as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
•
Setup, load and unload all production parts for Dot Peen engraving and/or laser marking machine
•
Review paperwork to ensure parts are marked to correct standards
•
Work closely with Inspection for quality review and adjust as needed
•
Read drawings to determine location of marking on part
•
Cross train in other areas, including packaging, assembly, and testing
•
Maintain safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures, complies with quality regulations
•
Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing other related tasks as requested
Qualifications/Skills
•
2-3 years of related experience
•
High School Diploma or equivalent
•
Must be detail oriented and possess high regard for quality and workmanship
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
•
Ability to prioritize assignments
•
Able to follow written and oral assignments
•
Ability to read blue prints
•
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
•
This position is primarily on the Assembly floor and can be noisy at times
•
Must be able to wear proper PPE safety toe shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection
•
Ability to move around the manufacturing floor
•
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
