About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including low voltage and industrial applications. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient operation and reliability of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to NEC guidelines.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople in frame carpentry and maintenance person tasks as needed.

•

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.

•

Work with logic controllers for automation systems in industrial settings.

•

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.

•

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.

•

Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

•

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in industrial settings.

•

Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.

•

Strong understanding of NEC regulations and safety standards.

•

Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.

•

Experience with logic controllers is advantageous.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
