Estate Manager

Description

The Estate Manager is both relationship manager and house manager. Responsible for up to 12 clients’ luxury homes in the Sarasota, Florida area, you will help prepare and conduct annual preventative maintenance plans; includes scheduling and/or supervising subcontractors. Perform visual home inspections; noting maintenance items, etc. In addition, organize and supervise any un-scheduled estate management maintenance functions.

We are partners with our clients in the full maintenance of their homes. We provide home inspections and are key holders, but we also offer maintenance programs for all aspects of the home from basic housekeeping to HVAC and other mechanical systems to structural and property maintenance. The Estate Managers are not only responsible for the maintenance of the home, but also responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within the home. We are proactive rather than reactive, but there are times when issues pop up that require quick thinking and response. We also assist with managing projects in and around the home – small repairs (honey-dos) to small renovations to installing generators, etc. Having a basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool systems, audio-video, security, etc. is a requirement. Must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds (often more because the managers are responsible for hurricane prep, too, which often requires moving furniture). Of course, overall, being organized and a good communicator is also a requirement as the estate manager is the main point of contact between the client, the office, and subcontractors.
