Chief Facility Inspector - Compressor Station Operations

Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Chief Facility Inspector to oversee safety, compliance, and operational integrity of natural gas compressor stations. This senior-level position is responsible for leading comprehensive inspection programs and maintaining regulatory compliance across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
•Direct and perform detailed inspections of compressor stations, including mechanical equipment, piping systems, pressure vessels, and auxiliary systems
•Lead a team of facility inspectors and coordinate inspection schedules to ensure optimal facility uptime
•Develop and implement inspection protocols and maintenance procedures according to industry standards and regulatory requirements
•Review inspection reports, analyze data trends, and make recommendations for preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades
•Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including OSHA, DOT, and environmental standards
•Investigate equipment failures and incidents, providing detailed analysis and corrective action plans
Required Qualifications
•10+ years of experience in facility inspection, with at least 5 years specifically in compressor stations or similar industrial facilities
•Extensive knowledge of compressor station operations, including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
•API 570 Piping Inspector certification and API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector certification
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
•Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage inspection teams
