Field Technician

Position Description

The Field Technician works under the limited supervision of the Field Services Manager to perform onsite field installation and commissioning of equipment in support of the Project Delivery teams. They work independently and must have technical knowledge of networking and the ability to follow engineering designs.

Physical, Mental & Emotional Requirements

Employees may be required to sit for long periods of time using a keyboard and monitor display, travel to local locations, lift up to 75lbs, and push/pull up to 75lbs. Must be able to organize and prioritize work in accordance with deadlines, adapt behavior and work methods in response to changing conditions or challenges. Employees will be involved with sustained activity required for analysis, reasoning, and problem solving. Must be able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships, recognize emotionally charged issues and respond appropriately, act with professionalism, and work both independently and collaboratively. Must be able to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside partners.

Work Environment

The employee will work in all climates to include changes in weather during all 4 seasons. The employee may occasionally attend meetings and/or training outside of their assigned work area.
