Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems. This role requires proficiency in working with low voltage electrical systems and the ability to detect issues effectively. As an Alarm Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients through reliable alarm systems.

Responsibilities

•

Install, maintain, and repair various types of alarm systems, including fire alarms and security alarms.

•

Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

•

Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform installations and repairs.

•

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with alarm systems, providing effective solutions.

•

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for alarm system upgrades or enhancements.

•

Assist in fire alarm sales by demonstrating product features and benefits to potential customers.

•

Maintain accurate records of service calls, inspections, and repairs performed.

Requirements

•

Strong mechanical knowledge and experience as a service technician in the alarm industry or related field.

•

Familiarity with construction inspection processes and standards.

•

Proficient in working with hand tools and electrical components related to alarm systems.

•

Experience with fire alarm systems is highly desirable.

•

Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems is essential.

•

Previous experience in alarm system sales is a plus but not required.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and accurately.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
