Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems in various settings. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties.
Responsibilities
•
Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems according to specifications and industry standards.
•
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning alarm systems using hand tools and power tools.
•
Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and wiring configurations.
•
Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and implement necessary repairs or upgrades.
•
Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during installations and repairs.
•
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Skills
•
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
•
Strong understanding of low voltage systems and their components.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics for system design.
•
Experience in field service work with a focus on customer satisfaction.
•
Knowledge of NEC regulations related to electrical installations.
•
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot various types of equipment effectively.
•
Familiarity with voltmeter usage for testing electrical circuits.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
