Primary Responsibilities

•

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire sprinkler projects to support our sales and business development teams.

•

Review project specifications, blueprints, and project related documents to determine project scope and requirements.

•

Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and gather necessary information.

•

Develop proposals and bid packages for customers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

•

Collaborate with sales executives, project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize project costs and strategies.

•

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors and owners.

•

Stay up to date on industry regulations, codes, and advancements in fire protection technology.

•

Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

•

Assist in the transition of awarded projects to the project management team.

•

Track and report on bid statuses, sales performance, and market trends.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in estimating, sales, design, or project management in the fire protection or construction industry.

•

Knowledge of fire sprinkler system design, installation, and applicable codes (NFPA, local building regulations) preferred.

•

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.

•

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

•

Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

•

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

•

High school diploma or equivalent.
