Bayside Fire is aggressively seeking a seasoned Fire Suppression Sales Representative at a competitive/generous rate.
Responsibilities:
•Perform pre-design of new fire suppression systems and produce accurate estimates.
•Write/Send proposals in a timely manner and provide post bid status to management monthly.
•Sell/Close new fire suppression sales contracts to include review of contract scopes, price, exclusions, etc.
•Maintain a minimum $3,000,000.00/year sales quota.
•Increase market share in the DC/Baltimore Metro region.
•Keep management fully informed in a timely fashion with regard to areas of concern on a project.
•Actively participate in change order, subcontractor, scheduling, and/or progress meetings.
•Prepare and issue change proposals for ongoing projects when needed.
•Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules as required.
•Maintain good relationships with the owner, architect, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and company personnel involved with projects.
•Submit any required information to clients as directed.
•Be aware of all aspects of the scopes of work so proper assistance to the Project Manager can be provided.
Job Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years of previous sales and project management experience with the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Minimum of 2 years in sprinkler design or 5 years of installation of commercial fire suppression systems in a leadership role.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, preferred.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
•Previous experience in commercial construction, including experience with commercial general contractors.
•Call on new clients and expand current customer base.
