Fleet and Facility Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs intermediate to advance level maintenance, repair, modification, service and operation of plants, buildings, and infrastructures. Works as a specialist in multiple crafts and trades.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Constructs, installs and repairs infrastructure projects from start to finish.

· Performs routine maintenance to industrial plants, buildings and infrastructures such as refinishing and moving office furniture.

· Established and maintains effective working relationships and public relations.

· Performs basic mathematical calculations.

· Applies safe practices and procedures for hazardous materials.

· Removes debris, broken trees and limbs from facilities and maintains plant.

· General grounds keeping which may include mowing and weed eating, sweeping, and trash pick up.

· May be required to take vehicles to maintenance shops with in the local area

· Complies with GVSUD safety standards policies to ensure safe work environment.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
