Fleet Manager / Mobile Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist

EDGE Contracting, Inc. a General Contractor located in Golden, CO specializing in Infrastructure and Site Development is currently hiring a Fleet Manager / Mobile Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist for the Denver Metro area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Typical work day, 50% Fleet Manager, 50% Field Repairs

· Manage and track preventative maintenance contracts

· Schedule preventative maintenance

· Coordinate field and shop repairs

· Monitor equipment utilization

· Prepare equipment repair estimates

· Track equipment cost and planned maintenance

· Procurement of new equipment

· Travel to job sites in like new 2020 Kenworth Service Truck

· Troubleshoot and repair CAT/Komatsu equipment

· Test mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems

· Inspect and repair small and large equipment

· Repair, weld, and fabricate machine attachments

· Document equipment repairs and future needs

· Inspect equipment for OSHA compliance

· Comply with all DOT and safety regulations

· Work in Golden CO shop when field repairs are complete

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, climbing, twisting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crawling, and laying under equipment

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times

· Wage $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
