Foreman/Equipment Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing heavy equipment and ensuring their proper operation on construction sites. Foreman responsibilities will be ensuring projects are completed as efficiently as possible with knowledge of materials for construction and landscaping projects, slopes and grades, septic and drainage pipe work, soils and aggregates, and customer service with a high attention to detail and finished product.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment efficiently and safely

- Follow project plans and blueprints to meet construction requirements

- Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure project timelines are met

- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance procedures

- Adhere to quality control and safety guidelines on all job sites

- Assist in pipeline installation, excavation, grading, and other construction activities

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in using Construction Management Software for project tracking

- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints

- Understanding of quality control processes in construction projects

- Previous experience in construction management or related field

- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders

- Strong budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
