Forge Shop Hammer Operator

Forge Resources Group consists of six manufacturing facilities located throughout the Midwest, specializing in closed die forging, metal forming & fabrication. We are looking for a Hammer Operator in DeKalb, IL to join our growing organization.

Qualifications:

· Attention to detail

· Ability to use basic measuring tools ie..tape measure, calipers, micrometers

· Ability to work in high and cold temperature environments, with high temperature materials

· Troubleshooting and reasoning capabilities

· Lift up to 40lb repeatedly without assistance

· Ability to read and follow directions written and spoken in English

Additionally, experience with blueprint reading, quality inspection using calipers and micrometers, and precision measuring instruments will be beneficial in this role.
