Forklift Operator

Overview: Join our team as a Forklift Operator where your expertise in operating forklifts and experience in warehouse settings will be valued. We are looking for a dedicated individual to contribute to our operations. Responsibilities: - Safely operate forklifts to unload incoming trailers and load merchandise onto outbound trailers. - Perform necessary administrative tasks related to inbound unloading and outbound loading, ensuring accurate counting and placement of freight. - Conduct regular inspections on forklifts, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs promptly. - Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times. - Assist in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. - Fulfill any other duties or assignments as required. Requirements: - Possess one to two years of relevant experience or equivalent background. - Knowledge of shipping practices, cargo handling techniques, and loading procedures. - Certification in forklift operation. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of performance and excellence. - Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm in handling shifting priorities. - Strong attention to detail in all tasks. - Proficient in English language skills (speaking, reading, writing). Working Conditions: - Standing and walking may be required occasionally during work hours. - Capability to lift, push, or carry items weighing over 50 pounds intermittently. - Exposure to varying outside weather conditions on occasion. - Work environment may involve continual exposure to loud noise levels. - Full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday.
