Our client, one of the top manufacturers and suppliers of building materials is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently move products within the warehouse and lumber yard. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that inventory is managed effectively.

Shift: 3pm - 1am - Monday - Thursday with some Friday overtime.

Responsibilities

•

Operate forklifts to transport materials safely throughout the warehouse and lumber yard.

•

Load and unload trucks, ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.

•

Move product from production line to holding areas on property.

•

Collaborate with supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

•

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.

•

Experience moving bulk materials like lumber.

•

Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.

•

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines consistently.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in tasks.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
