Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gate and Access Control Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities through the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with low voltage systems, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Duties

•

Install, configure, and maintain access control systems, including CCTV and related equipment.

•

Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper system design and implementation.

•

Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing access control systems.

•

Collaborate with team members to build and implement security solutions tailored to client needs.

•

Perform regular inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with NEC standards.

•

Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of access control systems.

•

Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience in access control system installation or a related field.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively.

•

Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems is required.

•

Experience working with CCTV systems is a plus.

•

Ability to read and understand schematics for system design purposes.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

•

A valid driver's license may be required for field service duties.
