General Labour

Summary:

Our growing company is looking for a General Laborer to assist in the fabrication of Lead- alloy based custom products. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, lead casting, extruding, grinding and burning. You will also be expected to construct shipping crates, skids, and other such structures.

You’ll be expected to be proficient in the use of basic power tools, such as drills, chop saws, and grinders. You’ll also be using acetylene torches, burning lead components together, and working with molten lead at temperatures up to 850°F. This position will also require the ability to regularly lift heavy loads.

As a lead manufacturer, we have elevated requirements for health and safety, which include wearing a Power Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR), thorough hand washing when coming off the floor, daily equipment cleaning, and regular blood tests for lead exposure.
