Hardware/PEM Insertion Set Up Responsibilities:

•

Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then installs identified hardware with process supervision and check to those specifications.

•

Uses Autosert machines and tools to accomplish assigned tasks.

•

Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.

•

Uses counters when necessary to make sure the correct number of hardware was installed.

•

Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.

•

Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.

•

Follows job routings and ISO procedures including Control of Nonconforming Product.

•

Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.

•

Follows work order procedures and routings; gathers required tools and hardware based on instructions, drawings, and specifications provided for the job.

•

Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area per standard 5S practices.

•

Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.

•

Follows procedures in relation to inspection of parts.

•

Crosstrains in other areas of the plant as necessary to meet production demands.

•

Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines.

•

Performs other duties as assigned.

Hardware/PEM Insertion Set Up Qualifications:

•

Basic understanding of technical plans, drawings, schematics, models and blueprints.

•

Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.

•

Basic understanding of mathematics.

•

Good teamwork skills.

•

Detail-oriented and consistent.
