Horizontal Directional Drill Locator

We’re looking to hire a Horizontal Directional Drill Locator for our crew operating in Las Vegas, NV and the surrounding area. HDD Locators are responsible for precise drill placement, utilizing the latest in electronics to navigate the drill stem in a trenchless operation. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in underground telecom construction and utility locating. You’ll be working with specialized equipment to support critical infrastructure projects. It’s an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, high-demand field with plenty of room for advancement and stability. Essential Duties:

Key Qualifications:

+ Repeatedly lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.), + Proximity to energized and de-energized electric lines and moving mechanical parts + Exposure to a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather + Frequently pull or push heavy objects, occasionally exerting 100 pounds of force, and frequently exerting 50 pounds of force + Occasionally work in confined spaces or on elevated work safe areas of up to 75 feet + May spend long periods driving and/or riding in construction vehicles to reach remote areas of the service territory
