Job Summary
The Field Superintendent plays a vital role within the construction management team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating essential on-site activities. This position ensures smooth operations by effectively managing construction processes, maintaining safety standards, and providing strong support to project managers and subcontractors. · Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
· Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures on-site to promote a safe work environment and comply with OSHA regulations.
· Team Leadership: Manage and lead on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
· Quality Control: Monitor the work performed to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
· Resource Allocation: Oversee material and equipment procurement, ensuring resources are available and efficiently utilized.
· Budget Management: Track project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial performance to upper management.
· Problem-Solving: Address on-site issues and challenges promptly to minimize delays and maintain project progress.
· Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including progress reports, safety inspections, and incident reports.

· Permit Procurement: Manage the acquisition of necessary permits from relevant authorities, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met with diligence and accuracy.
· Professional Correspondence: Exhibit exemplary email etiquette, maintaining timely and professional communication with all stakeholders.
· Team Communication Facilitation: Foster effective communication channels between team members and management, promoting transparency and collaboration.
· Collaborative Engagement: Work collaboratively with the consultant, office staff, and external teams to ensure efficient operations and alignment with project goals.

· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
· Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or project management.
· Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), internet navigation, task management software, Adobe applications, and communication tools such as Builders Trend.
· Knowledge Skills: Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
· Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a professional demeanor in all interactions.
· Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions with a proactive mindset.
