Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, with experience in heavy machinery and automotive systems. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and meets industry standards. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work closely with our operations team to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs on various types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

•

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including cranes, tractors, and other machinery.

•

Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.

•

Perform repairs on air brake systems and other critical components of heavy equipment.

•

Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing and evaluation purposes.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs.

•

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

•

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding equipment status and repair needs.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations.

Experience

•

Proven experience as a mechanic, specifically in heavy equipment operation and repair.

•

Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics required

•

Experience working with air brake systems, power tools, and various types of heavy machinery is essential.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.

•

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Pay: $30.33 - $45.14 per hour
