Heavy Equipment Operator

Note: Preference is given to local candidates and those from the surrounding Indigenous Communities. Please highlight on your application if either of these apply.

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment such as: Dozer, Loader, Excavator/Backhoe, Rock Truck, Skid Steer, and Packer.

Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is field based and often works within remote project locations. Travel and/or living in temporary accommodations is required. Must be able to work a 14-days on, 7-days off, 12-hour day rotation for the duration of project.

The Heavy Equipment Operator reports to the crew Foreperson. The position has no supervisory duties.
