About This Job

SUMMARY:

As an HR Intern at Natural Systems Utilities, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance. You will work closely with the HR team to provide administrative support and contribute to HR projects, fostering a positive work environment for all employees.

This is a Full-Time internship, working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.

•

Help with the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and a smooth transition.

•

Support the HR team in organizing training sessions, employee events, and meetings.

•

Assist in the maintenance of employee records and HR databases.

•

Help prepare HR reports and assist in HR-related research.

•

Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.

•

Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, answering employee inquiries, and other tasks as needed.

•

Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•

Current enrollment in a degree program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

•

Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

•

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

•

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

•

Strong organizational and time management skills.

•

Familiar in ADP Workforce Now, or other HRIS/HR software systems.
