Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture and enhancing employee engagement. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR practices, including payroll, benefits/retirement plan administration, recruiting and employee relations. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all HR functions and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

•

Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing candidates, background checking and drug testing and onboarding new employees.

•

Oversee benefits and retirement plan administration to ensure employees receive appropriate support and resources.

•

Utilize HR software such as Workforce, and ProLiant, for efficient management of employee records and payroll processes.

•

Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.

•

Communicate effectively with all levels of staff regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

•

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a combination of education and experience;

•

7-10 years experience as an HR Manager or similar role with a strong understanding of HR functions.

•

Familiarity with HR software systems such as Microsoft Office, Power Point, Quickbooks, Workforce/QB time, and ProLiant is highly desirable.

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

•

Experience in payroll, benefits and retirement plan administration is required.

•

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance within the organization.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
