The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, the Production Geologist will be responsible for:
•Assisting their supervisor with all of the Company’s mining operations;
•Working in both underground and open-pit mines by visiting ore extraction areas and conducting daily follow-ups on production activities;
•Assisting the Senior Production Geologist in supervising the work of geology technicians responsible for grade control in underground and open-pit operations;
•Validating ore stockpile tonnages and grades on the ROM pads;
•Assisting the Project Geologist with underground definition drilling planning;
•Following up on underground core logging and assay results;
•Supporting production engineering and mining operations with tasks related to production geology (identifying mineralized zones, planning sampling for drilling patterns, providing input on geological structures and characteristics of the deposits, wall and structural stability in underground workings and open pits, etc.);
•Participating in geological mapping of open pits and underground areas with technicians;
•Overseeing the processing, integration, and interpretation of production drilling data, as well as the design of ore packages and underground excavation solids;
•Performing any other duties deemed necessary by the Senior Production Geologist to ensure the efficient operation of the mine.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences (Geology or Geological Engineering);
•Member in good standing of the Ordre des géologues du Québec or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
•Preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in underground production geology;
•Strong verbal and written communication skills;
•Valid general explosives permit;
•Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
Assets
•Knowledge of Leapfrog and Deswik software;
•Training in Mining Modules (FMTM 1–7);
•Bilingual (functional French and English);
•Comfortable working with a diverse and multicultural team;
