Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and be proficient in using various hand tools and equipment. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish on industrial products. A strong understanding of materials handling and mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this position.
Duties
•
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
•
Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve a smooth and even finish.
•
Fabricate and assemble components as needed for painting processes.
•
Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials and finished products safely within the warehouse.
•
Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure adherence to specifications.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Utilize basic math skills to calculate material requirements for each project.
Qualifications
•
2 or more years experience in industrial painting preferred.
•
Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting applications.
•
Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
•
Experience with materials handling in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
