Job Description

•

Perform operational industrial tank cleaning project tasks as a senior team member.

•

Demonstrating experience in operation of wash units, pumps, robotic tank cleaning equipment and pre-commissioning services.

•

FLHA creation – Create FLHA according to tasks, analyse tasks at field level, recognize and record hazards prior to communicating to employees at tailgate meetings.

•

Responsible for completing and submitting daily progress reports, work tickets, safety documentation, and other paperwork.

•

Complete pre-use inspections of equipment to ensure it is operating safely.

•

Prepare and deliver work instructions and safety meetings to the crew at the start of daily shifts.

•

Apply drawings to the task at hand and verify their accuracy.

•

Ensure that all required Operating and Safe Work Procedures are followed.

•

Following and upholding the safety and quality expectations held by RJ Maclean in Tank Cleaning. Promote organization’s Core Values.

•

Communicate work progress, schedule variance, crew and safety performance to Project Manager, Inspectors, and others daily.

•

Mentor new and junior staff on project tasks.

•

Ensure the quality of the job meets or exceeds client specifications.

•

Ensure tasks as communicated by Field Supervisor/Project Manager are executed inside tanks.

•

Resolves work problems and recommends measures to improve productivity.

•

Ensure materials are ordered and delivered as required.

•

May perform other project-related duties as assigned.

•

Mask Fit and experience or capability working in confined space with breathingapparatus.

•

Pump and Hydraulics experiencerequired.

•

Industrial tank cleaning, turnaround, and pre-commissioning services experience.

•

Supervisory experience in oil and gas on project worksites.

•

Commercial Driver License preferred.

•
Excellent safety record.

•

Ability to work outdoors in all weatherconditions.

•

Ability to execute tasks with limitedSupervision.

•

Experience in a physically demanding role; Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly on shift and throughout theshift.

•

References, Alcohol and Drug Testing DISA, Criminal Record checks,Cleansafety record
