Installation and Service Technician – Home Elevators

Role

We are actively seeking a new team member for the role of installer / Service Technician. The Assistant Installer will train and work alongside experienced technicians installing equipment such as home and stairlifts. They will assist with loading and unloading of tools and equipment, participate in assembly of equipment and gradually learn the installation and service procedures of each type of equipment. The installer position offers the opportunity for growth in responsibility and pay as ability and experience progresses.

Requirements

Candidates for Installer do not need to have specific experience installing lifts of elevators. Candidates must have a strong mechanical and technical aptitude as well as the ability to follow instructions and absorb information from working with our senior technicians. Experience and knowledge of basic hand and power tools is a must and candidates will be expected to have or build their own basic tool kit within 60 days of starting. Beneficial relevant experience includes, automotive work, cable and internet installation, repair of electronic or technical products, home repair work or other relative experience.
