The IT Data Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IT monitoring and logging solutions to ensure real-time observability, performance optimization, and proactive issue detection across enterprise infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in monitoring tools, with Splunk experience highly preferred, along with hands-on skills in log analytics, event correlation, dashboard creation, and alerting strategies. This position will work closely with IT operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective monitoring, data collection, and performance analysis for cloud, network, and virtualized environments. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the Common Information Model (CIM) to standardize and normalize log data for enhanced correlation and analysis.
There are two positions available and the positions will be filled at one of four job grade levels: IT Data Infrastructure Engineer I, job grade 7; IT Data Infrastructure Engineer II, job grade 8, IT Data Infrastructure Engineer III, job grade 9; or Senior IT Data Infrastructure Engineer, job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.
