Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee and manage a team responsible for network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the company’s IT infrastructure while mentoring and guiding the team. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with other IT functions to support business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities•Lead and manage a team of System Engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
•Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.
•Ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of IT systems, including servers, virtualization, cloud environments, networking components and telephony.
•Act as an escalation point for complex network and server-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
•Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for IT infrastructure management.
•Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates and patches.
•Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies and mitigate risks.
•Manage disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
•Work with IT leadership to plan and execute infrastructure projects aligned with company goals.
•Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration.
•Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and routing technologies.
•Experience with Windows server administration, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (Azure).
•Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions.
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
•Certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, or ITIL Foundation.
•Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell).
•Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
