Job Description:
In this role, you will be an integral part of AZTEC’s IT Team, working in a collaborative environment, responsible for the following tasks:
•Provide “best-in-class” user support
•Manage the help-ticket queue, troubleshoot, solve user issues, and escalate when necessary
•Serve as our first point of contact when IT user issues arise
•Provide hands-on user support on a wide array of software applications
•Create user accounts in Active Directory (AD)
•Assign IT Hardware as requested by the hiring manager
•Assign O365 licenses that are necessary for the user’s role within the company
•Provide IT Orientation for all new hires on their first day and answer any IT questions they may have
•Active Directory Support:
•User account creation, password resets, and assigning permissions
+ Assign users O365 Licenses based on the role within the company
•O365/SharePoint Groups Support:
+ Create O365 Groups for projects. End user training on O365, Microsoft Teams, and Teams Rooms Conference Room systems
+ Assign IT Hardware and maintain an accurate inventory. (Including asset tagging and troubleshooting hardware issues)
•High proficiency with the use of Microsoft O365 Software Suite:
+ OneDrive, Excel, and Word
+ Document software installations, configurations, and known issues
+ Create new and edit existing documentation across the entire IT Infrastructure as hardware or configuration changes
+ Install software, patching, configuring, and maintaining laptops and mobile devices. Examples include monitors, docking stations, and printers
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
•Minimum Education: Associate Degree in computer science, IT, related field, or equivalent work experience and training
•Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical support of PCs in an enterprise environment
•Desktop and employee support experience in an enterprise environment
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop (Windows WIN10/11) and intermediate working knowledge of Office 365/Outlook, Active Directory, and remote desktop
•Solid understanding of networking basics, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VLAN, VPN, and Wireless networks
•Strong understanding of Active Directory, O365 Administration, VPN, basic networking, and troubleshooting software
•Strong customer service skills with both verbal and written communications
•Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
•Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks efficiently
•Maintains a high level of communication with customers with respect to scheduling support calls, follow-ups, and confirmation of resolution
•Experience with engineering software such as Autodesk or Bentley products is a huge plus
•Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier
