Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is crucial in upholding our standards of hygiene and appearance across commercial, industrial, and residential spaces.

Responsibilities

•

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.

•

Handle custodial duties including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed.

•

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to keep the environment safe and functional.

•

Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff.

•

Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and stored properly.

•

Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.

•

Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

•

Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

•

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

•

Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

•

A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace.
