Job Cost Accountant

About This Job

CWM has an immediate opening for a Job Cost Accountant with a BA in Accounting from a four-year college or university.

-

This position consists of the following duties:

•

Perform Quarterly audits and monthly reviews on active construction projects.

•

Review costing results to ensure proper accounting of quantities and cost.

•

Coordinate with field personnel and communicate any possible quantity, billing, or cost discrepancies.

•

Analyze construction projects’ performance.

•

Conduct various analysis of cost and quantities for management.

•

Setup a variety of allocations, budget revisions, and forecasts for management.

•

Assist with the preparation and review of Financial Statements.

•

Perform any special projects or tasks as requested by management.

•

Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or policies, procedures, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

•

BA in Accounting from a four-year college or university

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

•

Efficient problem solver

•

Good communication skills
