Journeyman Pipefitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, industrial boiler and refrigeration systems in commercial and settings.

Responsibilities:

- Install and industrial and commercial boiler systems according to local codes and standards (5 years experience)

- Massachusetts Journeyman License

-MA Sheet Metal License

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems

- Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform plumbing tasks

- Weld and solder pipes as needed

- Perform tube bending for proper pipe fitting

- Conduct pipe welding when required

- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Skills:

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for plumbing tasks

- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately

- Experience in welding and soldering techniques

- Knowledge of maintaining plumbing systems in optimal condition

- Skilled in tube bending for precise pipe installation

- Familiarity with FCAW and GTAW processes

- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards
