Responsibilities

•

Formation, filling and maintaining up-to-date databases describing the operation of the energy markets of Ukraine and neighboring countries.

•

Forecasting demand for energy resources (including selection and evaluation of various forecasting methods).

•

Analysis of information resources regarding the functioning of the fuel and energy sector.

Requirements

•

Entry level professional experience (willing to take on a senior master's student).

•

Completed/incomplete higher education in applied systems analysis or mathematical statistics.

•

Experience in creating and maintaining informational relational and non-relational databases.

•

Experience in modeling using optimization, statistical and stochastic methods and their combination.

•

Skills and abilities in preparing analytical materials and presenting them

•

Knowledge of English at least Intermediate level.

•

Mandatory requirement: an irresistible desire to learn new things and expand one's own competencies at the intersection of IT, energy and economics

•

The following would be an advantage: experience in the fuel and energy sector or in specialized research institutions; knowledge of data scrapping methods.
