Junior System Administrator
FLSA Classification/Overtime Status: Hourly, Non - Exempt
Reports to: Director of Information Technologies
The Junior Network and System Administrator is responsible for the successful execution and completion of various projects, daily support and maintenance of the network infrastructure, as well as supporting the Senior Systems Engineer and IT Department. The Junior Network and System Administrator must work collaboratively with other members of the organization, while always following the Company’s core values of Service, Integrity and Respect.
Responsibilities:
•Initial point of contact for end user support. Field all incoming tickets and phone calls.
•Deploy desktops, laptops, printers, VolP pones, IP Cameras, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
•Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
•Create and maintain base images for Windows desktops and laptops.
•Troubleshooting of computer hardware and software applications, VolP telephones, mobile devices, printers, IP Cameras, and networking devices.
•Take assignments from the senior IT staff and complete assignments in a timely manner.
•Perform daily monitoring of servers, backups, and service health.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 account administration.
•Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
•Experience in network design and setup. Familiar with basic switch, router, and firewall configuration.
•Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting.
•Previous end user support strongly
•Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 required.
•Self-motivated and team oriented
Must be able to handle confidential information.

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or technical major and/or certifications preferred
•1-2 years of experience in a related field
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
