About This Job

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our local small business land scape crew. THIS IS A PAID BY PROJECT JOB. Good for a new student or landscape designer looking to gain more experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing outdoor spaces that enhance the natural environment while meeting client needs. This role involves collaborating with clients, landscape crew, and other professionals to develop innovative landscape designs for various projects, including gardens, parks, and urban developments.

Responsibilities

•

Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software tools such as AutoCAD and .

•

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project.

•

Prepare detailed project plans, including hardscape elements, plant selections, and garden layouts.

•

Conduct site assessments to evaluate environmental conditions and constraints.

•

Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.

•

Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure design integrity.

•

Utilize ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis related to landscape projects.

•

Provide construction estimating to assist in budget planning and resource allocation.

•

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in landscape architecture.

Experience

•

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, etc. is essential.

•

Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to landscape architecture.

•

Familiarity with hardscape design and implementation techniques.

•

A strong background in landscape design principles, including plant selection and garden design.

•

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
