Job Duties:
•Follows instructions given by the crew leader and landscape manager but also has the ability to run a small crew or work independently.
•Properly and safely operates equipment such as skid steer, dingo, chainsaw, and compactor.
•Supporting all project crews as-needed by acting as the flex position.
•Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production goals.
•Reports to work in a clean uniform and appropriate boots.
•Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies and safety procedures.
•Understand and uphold company standards, “The Sun Valley Way”.

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5:00pm, some weekends

Desired Experience and Education:
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape installation work
•Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body.
•Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test.
•Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
•Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary.
Summary: Landscape Flex Tech is a position that is capable of performing duties in hardscaping, planting, drainage, water features and other facets of installation. Candidates will have experience with equipment operation and working with a team to install top quality landscapes and meet budget expectations. You must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Our flex positions work on multiple crews throughout the season, filling in wherever needed.
