Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a thorough understanding of carpentry practices, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Carpenter Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, supervising crew members, and maintaining safety protocols on the job site.
Duties
•Oversee carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to blueprints and specifications.
•Manage and supervise a team of carpenters, providing guidance and support as needed.
•Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and project requirements.
•Utilize ProCore and Prolog software for project management, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
•Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
•Read and interpret schematics and contracts to facilitate project execution effectively.
•Train new team members on best practices in carpentry techniques and safety protocols.
•Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work related to carpentry tasks when necessary.
Experience
•Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
•Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
•Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
•Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in construction projects.
•Experience with project management software such as ProCore or Prolog is preferred.
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
•Strong communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members efficiently.
