About the role:

Reporting to the Program Director, ERP Modernization Finance, the Lead, Finance Process for EVR’s ERP transformation program is responsible for all functional activities included in the end – to - end financial processes with a focus on the record to report, and invoicing to AP and Assets.

In this role you will:

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Management of sub-process leads and SMEs like Record to Report, Invoice to Pay, Asset Accounting, Treasury and Tax areas
Ensure regulatory Compliance & Accounting Standards, by working with key SMEs, (understanding of SOX, IFRS, audit requirements, financial controls) are embedded throughout the ERP
Collaborate with enterprise architects, consultants, PMO, change management, other EVR and Glencore constituents (e.g., IT), and partner systems (i.e., external - facing interfaces) on program and people impacts
Collaborate with consultants to translate the design of legacy EVR processes, data, and logic into target Glencore - centric processes, data, and logic, including the Prepare & Ramp-Up Phase, Explore (Design) Phase, Realize (Build or Test) Phase, Deploy & Run (Cutover or Hypercare or Support) Phase
Restructure business and IT processes and organization within an ERP construct
Develop and execute thoughtful road maps and cutover strategies
Support business and IT functions during mergers and acquisitions
Design of ERP solutions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), specifically, SAP S/4HANA
Manage IT project workstreams and quality assurance
Recommend ERP software and related platforms, requirements, and configuration
Manage projects and expectations and maintain control of situations when they escalate
Develop team’s talent by providing direction and facilitating nuanced SAP discussions


Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management, natural sciences, information technology, or relevant field
Minimum 10 years of practical experience in IT and ERP implementations, consulting, or digital product management with a focus on SAP solutions
Strong ability to translate complex technical and financial requirements for non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Finance-Specific Process Expertise specifically with Record to Report, Invoice to Pay, Asset Accounting, Treasury and Tax areas, etc
Deep experience in business process design and configuration for SAP S/4HANA
Previous experience in a management role in two or more end-to-end ERP implementations in a waterfall or hybrid-agile setting
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
