The Blending Operator will be primarily responsible for carrying out the assigned plant production schedules in order to meet internal and external customer requirements. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate daily operations on the blend floor and in the warehouse, ensuring seamless workflow between production, inventory management, and shipping, while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Oversee and coordinate overtime and vacation schedules to ensure continuous operations in the facility, effectively managing staffing needs during peak periods and employee absences
Replace personal in their different productive areas (blending, receiving, moving material) when required.
Complete the Operator Progression program to gain a comprehensive understanding of all areas within the facility, then take on the role of mentor and trainer, guiding and developing new and existing operators to ensure consistent skill growth and adherence to best practices.
Being a positive/lead influence and contributor to Continuous Improvement
Communicate effectively between groups both within the plant and external
Develop and enforce 5S/Cleaning standards across operating facility
Comply with all applicable ISO procedures


Position Details:

Candidate must reside in Leduc, AB or the surrounding area.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work overtime as needed or requested by the manager.


Physical Demands:

This role is a safety-sensitive position and the successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing in accordance with ChampionX’s policy
Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50lbs
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid and dry/arid conditions.


Preferred Qualifications:

Dedicated to safety and quality
Forklift experience
Previous experience with ChampionX as a leader preferred
Chemical manufacturing experience or equivalent industry experience
SAP knowledge and experience
Demonstrates initiative for self-improvement and assuming additional responsibilities
Knowledge of automated control systems
Responsible and flexible team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude
Intermediate level computer skills
