· Perform maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing equipment.
· Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical upkeep as well as any emergency repairs.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
· Conduct regular inspections for necessary upkeep, and document all findings.
· Identify opportunities, solutions, and lead continuous improvement efforts for safety and plant maintenance.
· Must possess the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
· Must be able to work effectively on both independent and team-oriented tasks.
· Be accountable to complete all work order requests in a timely and cost-effective manner
· Identifies and reports unsafe conditions to Health & Safety Coordinator.
· A Minimum of 3 years work experience as a maintenance technician.
· Electrical Knowledge: Low voltage and high voltage (480 VAC only).
