Job Description: Lease Analyst (Coal Mining)

Location: San Francisco, California

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (based on experience)

Preferred Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate leases related to coal mining operations
- Review lease agreements, contracts, and terms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct research and gather data on lease-related matters, including land ownership, restrictions, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate lease reporting and documentation
- Monitor lease-related payments, royalties, and expenses
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues regarding lease documents and payments
- Maintain lease databases and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to lease management
- Provide support in negotiations with landowners and government entities as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lease analysis, preferably in the coal mining industry
- Strong knowledge of lease agreements, land rights, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and lease management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex documents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
